Hello Its Suzanne Houck the 2009 Huntingdon County Fair Queen, recently I've been busy promoting Farm Safety 4 Just Kids and wanted to share with everyone what has been going on in my reign as queen. Just recently I went to the Shavers Creek and Stone Valley 4-H Clubs and had a wonderful time teaching young children about Farm Safety. It is such an honor to be able to attend meetings and reach out to kids about agriculture. I also attended the Holstein Banquet and Farm BureaoMeeting at Hoss's.
Some events that will are coming up that I will be involved with is reading to the Juniata Valley Preschool in Alexandria, a book about Farm Safety. I am really looking forward to seeing all of the young children's smiling faces.
Important information to all young woman across Huntingdon County; if your interested in being part of a memorable experience come to Tea with the coordinators, myself and other candidates to talk about the new upcoming year. The Tea will be held at the Huntingdon County Fair grounds on June 20, 2009 and applications are due to the fair office by June 27, 2009. Any questions please contact the fair office or myself for further information. Please help me promote agriculture and Farm Safety 4 Just Kids!
